Toyota Malawi on 21 November, night treated its female customers and employees to a special dinner and dance at Sunbird Mount Soche in Blantyre.

Complimenting the dinner dance were special gifts, which were given to each of the guests upon arrival.

Toyota Malawi Managing Director Rosemary Mkandawire said the event was organised to appreciate the support female customers offer to the company.

"We just wanted to socialise with our female customers and dance together and interact but most of all to thank them for supporting our products," said Mkandawire.

She said when unveiling new vehicles, the Toyota franchise dealer always has in mind its female customers whose test she said differs from that of men.

"We know ladies like to drive automatic vehicles, so make sure we have those in stock and we encourage you to come to Toyota Malawi's showroom and test drive our new keyless entry Rav4 and the rest of the vehicles," she said.

The women were also treated to special music that ranged from local, R&B, Hip-hop, Kwaito and golden-oldies, as they danced and made merry until late.

Patrons to the event felt the company had done well to target women because they were at the centre of big decisions that require so much money for expensive commodities like cars.

Last month, Toyota Malawi also treated its female employees and customers in Blantyre and Lilongwe to a luncheon to appreciate their role.
