Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the following positions;

1. Parts Sales Consultant (2 positions -Blantyre and Lilongwe)

Reporting to the Parts Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting parts sales, reporting and maintaining a parts sales database and professional customer service.

Key Results Areas:
• Tracks, monitors and reports on performance of prospects and pipeline to Parts Manager on a weekly basis against targets.
• Issues and tracks parts sales quotations and records lost sales on a monthly basis. • Negotiates and closes deals in line with set processes and procedures.
• Ensures adequate product knowledge for all TMAL’s genuine parts and accessories. • Reviews individual parts sales plan on a monthly basis and ensures that plans are in line with proposed budget parameters and targets.
• Tracks and ensures individual marketing and promotion plan costs are at all times within approved guidelines and budgets.
• Manages individual part sales debtors and ensures that they are at all times contained within TMAL’s approved tolerance limits.
• Assists with data gathering for parts sales and market intelligence database.

Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
• A Diploma in any business related discipline
• A qualification in Marketing (will be an added advantage.)
• Minimum of three years’ experience in commercial sales (will be an added advantage)
• Good Sales & Marketing skills
• Good Communication & Interpersonal Skills
• Good negotiation skills
• Pleasant personality, honest and reliable

2. Parts (Warehouse) Storekeeper (2 positions - Blantyre and Lilongwe)

Reporting to the Assistant Parts Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for parts picking and binning process in the Warehouse.

Key Result Areas:
• Ensures invoices and pick up slips records are filed correctly and up to date.
• Undertakes perpetual stock counts randomly.
• Records picking documents and updates register on a daily basis.
• Ensures that bin locations and bin indicators are clearly visible and easy to locate.
• Checks and bins back all parts returned by the Sales Consultants.
• Receives physical parts and bins accordingly.
• Picks and delivers parts to the sales staff accurately and within prescribed turn around times.
• Assists in attaining TMAL’s established and department part sales goals.

Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
• A Diploma in any Business related discipline
• A qualification in Chartered Institute of Purchase and Supply will be an added advantage (but not a must)
• Good Computer understanding
• Good communication skills
• Team player
• Pleasant personality, honest and reliable
