The new model is named after the long-running Corolla family car and is based on the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) program. This structural based innovation program focuses on changing basic architecture of vehicles as a way of sustaining the Toyota brand and exceeding customer expectation. So meet the Corolla Cross, it a different version from the sedans, hatchbacks and wagons. 

Bold exterior, stylish and luxurious Interior

The five-seater SUV boasts of a spacious, leather-clad cabin.You will be assured to experience style, quality and comfort.  Corolla Cross is designed with practicality in mind. It has large door openings for easy entry and exit, an elevated driving position and a spacious interior. We aim for a first class-leading luggage space on the Malawian market. Comfort and convenience is complimented with a power sun/moon roof and rear USB outlets. Other installed available amenities inside the Corolla Cross include 8-inch touchscreen infotainment, Radios, and the reverse camera.

Up front is a familiar face with a refined grille flanked by thin, swept-back headlamps. The black accents on the front continues over to the side onto the wheel mineshafts and the side skirts. Meanwhile, the rear follows the same styling with a similar bumper as the front. Experience the sleek LED headlights and taillights with a foot-activated lift gate and much more.

Enhanced safety features

 The vehicle inherits the safety equipment seen of the Corolla series. This will include driver and passenger airbags, child lock, ISOFIX points for child safety on rear outer seats. The emergency brake signal (EBS) feature, which immediately activates during a side impact crash and deploys over the door rails above the side windows. The feature works by cushioning between the driver or the passenger and the window. This Corolla Cross is unique for it has been built to meet and exceed your safety requirement needs. The Toyota Corolla Cross has outstanding fuel efficiency of 1.8L engine with Dual Variable Valve Timing with intelligence, which is an automobile variable valve timing technology developed by Toyota, aimed at delivering a maximum output of 140/103 (horse power per kilometre) and 172 (Newton meter) to offer the right amount of power for all your faraway destinations. The Corolla Cross comes with 6 speed automatic CVT (continuously variable transmission) transmission which combines the smooth, fuel-efficient performance of a CVT with the more direct driving feel of a traditional geared automatic.
