Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the position of Motor Vehicle Technician at Toyota Malawi Limited’s Service Workshop Department.
Required Person
• Malawi School Certificate of Education or its Equivalent
• Level 3 TEVET Certificate / Grade 1 Trade Test
• Diploma in Motor Vehicle Mechanics will be added advantage
• Three Years’ experience in a busy Motor Vehicle Workshop
• Good Communication & Interpersonal Skills
• Basic Computer Knowledge is a must
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Achieve sales targets for Toyota workshop services through effectively servicing customers vehicles as per service menus
• Carry out pre-delivery inspection on all new vehicles prior to delivery.
• Provide quality workmanship through fixing customer vehicles right the first time in order to avoid repeat jobs.
• Accurate Diagnosis of vehicle faults, identification of parts and proper vehicle parts fitment
• Manage self-performance through active identification of training needs & participation in available training & development programs.
• Timely and accurate communication of vehicle defects through preparation & submitting of defect reports to Foremen.
• Handle customer complaints promptly to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
• Proper management of all technical tools & equipment allocated to you at all times to avoid accidents and wastage.
• Adhere to Toyota standards by carefully handling customer vehicles & tools to avoid damages and losses.
• Ensure work area is tidy at all times.
